IBM's Introduction to the New Mainframe Series

When IBM formed the Academic Initiative and began to promote the teaching of mainframe concepts in universities, they created a series of Introduction to the New Mainframe Redbooks designed to serve as textbooks for mainframe-centric college classes. This is reflected in the fact that each chapter opens with learning objectives and closes with review questions and hands-on exercises. Because these books assume no prior mainframe experience, they are unusually readable for IBM Redbooks. These books are therefore excellent self-study resources for any aspiring Millennial Mainframer.
